Return & Refund Policy

  1. At Desi Khazana, while shipping your order, we take utmost care to ensure that only fresh & best quality of fruits or vegetables are packed for you. However being highly perishable & fragile, some of the fruits / vegetables may degrade in quality or freshness during the shipment. Hence fresh vegetables / fruits items are not applicable for refund or replacements. We recommend opting for Next Day Delivery for these items.

 

  1. All returns must be done within 7 days of receiving the delivery of the order. Buyer pays the return postage.

 

  1. Due to food safety & hygienic reasons, refunds will be applicable for the items that are unused and not opened from its original packaging.

 

  1. Photographic evidences will be required to be emailed while returning items for any reason.

 

  1. Contact us over the phone or email BEFORE returning any item.

 

  1. While returning the items, it is customer’s responsibility to ensure it reaches us safely & without any damage. Refund will not be processed for lost return shipment or the item/s that are lost or damaged during return shipment.

 

  1. In case free shipping was availed for the order from which item/s are to be returned or refunded, it is essential to note that after reducing price of returned / refunded item/s from the original total order amount, if total cost of the retained products is less than minimum order amount criteria for Free Shipping that was applicable at the time of the order, then customer will have to pay shipping charges as applicable. These shipping charges can be paid separately or adjusted against total refund amount payable. Refund will be issued only upon receipt of the payment of shipping charges.

 

  1. While returning specifically an item on which any type of discount was applied (in form of voucher / coupon etc) at the time of purchase, then while refunding, only that amount will be refunded which was actually paid for that product and not the discounted amount. In this case the discount code / coupon that was already used will not be reusable in future purchases.

       9.If item/s to be returned was purchased as a multi buy discounted deal, and            customer is returning only part of the total number of items purchased                    under that deal, then while calculating refund amount, each returned as                  well as retained item will be charged at the individual rate. This may                        increase the price of retained items under that multi buy deal which can be            adjusted against the refund amount. If the cost of retained items is more                than returned items, then customer will have to pay the difference.

       10. As a part of multi buy deal, if you have availed Free Shipping on your                     order and you want to return items partly or fully from that order, then 

             a. Full shipping rates be applicable based on amount of the products                         being retained (in case of partial returned) / originally order (in case of                   full returned) in conjunction with the shipping zone of delivery address.

             b. Retained product/s will be charged at it's original unit quantity in case                     discounted rate was paid while ordering as a multi buy deal.

             c. Refund amount will be calculated after considering deductible                                 amount as per above points a & b from the original order amount.

      11. Refund will be issued within 5 working days upon receiving, for the items                that reach us safely & without damage.

      12. Refund amount will include the cost of returned items only & not the                        shipping price or items that are damaged / lost during the shipment.

    13.  Order can be cancelled only before it is shipped. Once the order is                         dispatched, order cancellation will not be processed. Then it goes in to the             Returning process once it arrives with the customer where the customer                 will have to return the parcel at their expense & we will refund the cost of               items that reaches us excluding shipping charges (paid at the time of                     placing the order) upon receiving the parcel safely. Any damaged,                           perished or lost items during the shipment either way will not be refunded.

     14. For all orders with total Order Amount equal to or more than £100                     (items cost + shipping cost together) 5% Restocking Charges apply                     upon cancellation or return of the order. This 5% Restocking Charges will               be deducted from the amount to be refunded.

     15. For any order refund / return above stated one or combination of multiple               policies could be applicable.
