India Gate Basmati Rice Durbar originates from the heart of basmati growing land of India - the Terai region of North Western Himalaya. The highest quality harvest of the region is tested, procured and then sent for ageing for the minimum period of one year in the most conducive environment. 

Why Ageing?

For Basmati to flower in all its unique attributes, it must be matured for at least one year. The result? On cooking, the grain elongates two to three times; won't break or stick together; and releases characteristic aroma
